Algot Bengtsson is an Associate at Hammarskiöld, working within the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice.
He advises clients in complex commercial disputes, with experience in both arbitration proceedings and litigation before Swedish courts, particularly in matters involving legally and procedurally demanding issues.
In parallel with his work at Hammarskiöld, Algot is completing his doctoral dissertation in private law.
He is affiliated with Stockholm University, where he also teaches, and brings a strong academic perspective to disputes involving complex questions of substantive law and legal structure.
Algot has prior experience from law firms and from Swedish courts. He is regularly involved in disputes, regulatory matters and investigations where legal precision, doctrinal depth and careful procedural analysis are central, and works closely with clients, in-house legal teams and senior counsel as part of integrated dispute teams.
