What is it really like to work at a commercial law firm?
Hammarskiöld Career Day is designed for law students who wish to gain genuine insight into business law beyond course materials and theory. During a full day at Hammarskiöld’s office in Stockholm, you will gain first-hand experience of how the firm operates and have the opportunity to get to know its employees.
To participate, you must have started at least your fifth semester by the time of Hammarskiöld Career Day. The event is intended for those who have progressed some way through their studies and are beginning to consider their future career in business law. You may be contemplating applying for a summer traineeship, a thesis internship, or a future role at a commercial law firm, and wish to make a more informed decision.
Business Law in Practice
During the day, you will work on realistic case studies, take part in workshops, and listen to our lawyers as they share their professional experiences. This will provide a clearer understanding of how the law is applied in a business context and what is expected of a business lawyer.
Hammarskiöld Career Day will not only enhance your knowledge of business law but also give you greater clarity regarding your career choices. You will have the opportunity to build a professional network, ask questions directly to practising lawyers, and meet other motivated law students from across the country.
The day concludes with a joint dinner, where discussions can continue in a more relaxed setting.
