Hammarskiöld acted as legal adviser to Iyuno-SDI Group in connection with Softbank Vision Fund 2’s USD 160 million investment in the newly merged market leading Iyuno-SDI Group.
Iyuno-SDI Group, with clients such as Netflix, other streaming companies and film houses, is the largest international provider of localisation services for media and entertainment. The group was formed earlier this year when Altor, Softbank Ventures and Shamrock Capital-owned Iyuno Media Group acquired SDI Media from Imagica Group.
With Softbank Vision Fund 2’s investment in the Iyuno-SDI Group, the company is now joined by one additional important partner and can take further steps to fulfil its mission of delivering technology-driven localization services to the media and entertainment industry.
Softbank Vision Fund 2 was represented in Sweden by the law firm Vinge.
