Hammarskiöld has acted as legal adviser to J-Kem and its owners on the sale of the J-Kem International to Carlyle-owned Atotech Group in Germany. J-Kem is a front running chemicals company within electroless and electrolytic plating technology. Atotech is a world-leading surface-finishing solutions provider headquartered in Berlin. The purchase price for the transactions has not been disclosed. The transaction closed on 1 August 2019.
