Qred, the fastest growing fintech company in Sweden, has been granted a license to conduct banking operations. The application was approved in only seven months.
Hammarskiöld has advised Qred, recognized four times by Financial Times as one of Europe’s fastest growing companies, to apply for a banking license with the Swedish
Financial Supervisory Authority (SFSA). Using a proprietary AI powered financing platform, Qred has since the start in 2015 issued over 100,000 loans to small businesses in the Nordics and Benelux region.
“Hammarskiöld’s goal is to add a competitive edge to our clients’ businesses. We do this by a dedicated team effort working closely with our clients. An important driver for us is to understand the client’s business inside and out, a vital component when assisting our clients to submit high quality licence applications to the SFSA. The result in this case has been nothing but outstanding and we congratulate Qred for this important and strategic achievement, says Mattias Anjou, Managing Partner at Hammarskiöld and responsible matter partner.
“The bank license marks another major milestone as we are getting closer to the dream we had when Qred started eight years ago. I am very satisfied that the application process has been so fast and smooth. A true team effort together with Hammarskiöld resulting in a professional delivery to the point. We are extremely pleased with the outcome, says Emil Sunvisson, CEO at Qred.
