Hammarskiöld is legal adviser to the leading European lenders consisting of KfW IPEX-Bank, DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale and SEK Swedish Export Credit Corporation in the approx. EUR 300 million project financing of the Björnberget wind farm. A total of 60 of the latest generation Siemens Gamesa wind turbines will be used at Björnberget, which feature the largest rotor diameter currently available in the onshore wind market and with a total installed capacity of 372 MW.
The Björnberget wind farm is jointly owned by the listed company Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (ENLT) and Prime Green Energy Investment Fund.
The legal documentation for the project financing is governed by Swedish law. Hammarskiöld cooperated with Simmons & Simmons Frankfurt in the financing.
