Sandra Kaznova heads the firm’s Dispute Resolution team together with Andreas Johard. She has more than twenty years’ experience of representing Swedish and international clients in domestic and international arbitration as well as before Swedish courts. Sandra is frequently appointed arbitrator and has experience as chair, party appointed and sole arbitrator under a variety of rules including for example SCC, ICC and UNCITRAL. She acts as mediator, based on CEDR accreditation, and was part of the expert group appointed by the SCC to develop the new dispute resolution tool SCC Express.

Sandra’s broad experience of commercial disputes includes for example sale and purchase of goods, board liability, post M&A issues, shareholder disputes, employment and trade secrets, insurance, life science, loan and financing agreements as well as professional liability. Having a particular interest in insurance law, Sandra is often retained by insurance companies for such matters. Together with the firm’s regulatory experts, Sandra further supports clients in matters of investigation and potential sanctions by authorities.

Before specializing in dispute resolution, Sandra used to work with M&A transactions and corporate matters, building a solid understanding of those fields. Combining expertise in corporate governance, dispute and employment law, she has also been entrusted with several corporate investigations.

Sandra is recommended by both Chambers and Legal 500, some client feedback include:
