Erik regularly advises Swedish and international clients from a wide variety of industries in complex M&A transactions and corporate commercial contracts, many with a cross-border element. Further, Erik has extensive experience in advising non-Swedish clients on all aspects of post-transaction integration and restructuring work and handling of day-to-day corporate legal issues that may arise for a Swedish company acting as part of an international group. Erik lead Hammarskiöld’s team negotiating Scania’s investments in Swedish (i) battery cell start-up Northvolt, and (ii) green steel plant start up H2GS, both of which included also long term billion SEK supply contracts for commercial vehicles. Erik also acts as counsel for several leading international underwriters of Warranties & Indemnities transaction insurances on the Swedish market. Erik is recognised as an expert in this practice area among his peers.
