Hammarskiöld has assisted Sunna Group AB in the establishment of a large-scale solar park that will be built outside of Gislaved, Sweden. The solar park is estimated to have a capacity of 15 MW and an annual generation of 15 million kilowatt hours, corresponding to the annual consumption of household electricity for more than 3,000 residential houses. Norwegian energy company Aneo has co-invested in the project, which will be the first large-scale solar park in Aneo’s portfolio. The parties will contribute over SEK 100 million in capital to finance the project, which will be one of Sweden’s largest solar parks. Construction of the solar park is expected to commence in the spring of 2023 with commissioning in late 2023.
Sunna Group is a Swedish solar energy company founded in 2020 with the ambition to increase the amount of solar power in the energy system. Sunna Group is developing large scale solar power plants and aims to own and operate solar power plants with an installed capacity of 1 GW by 2030. Sunna Group offers companies and municipalities access to renewable and locally produced solar power, which will enable regional growth and the electrification of society at large.
