Hammarskiöld has acted as acted legal adviser to Carneo Asset Management and Carnegie Fonder (both owned by Swedish PE-fund Altor) in the acquisition of all Swedish investment funds and discretionary investment mandates from Alfred Berg Fonder and Alfred Berg Kapitalförvaltning (both within the BNP Paribas group). The acquisitions will add an additional approximate 10 billion SEK of assets under management to Carneo. The purchase price for the transactions has not been disclosed.
The transaction is conditioned on customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed during Q4 2019.
Hammarskiöld’s team consisted primarily of Erik Fahlgren (Partner), Erik Löfwall (Partner), Mattias Anjou (Partner), Marcus Tipner (Associate), Sofie Ottosson (Associate) and Anton Sjöberg (Associate).
