Hammarskiöld acted together with US law firm Paul Hastings as legal adviser to Iyuno Media Group in connection with the acquisition of SDI Media.
Iyuno Media Group, market leader in dubbing and subtitling in the media and entertainment industry, has made an agreement with Imagica Group Inc. to acquire 100 percent of SDI Media.
The Iyuno Media Group was formed in 2019 by the merger of BTI, owned by Altor and Shamrock and the international company Iyuno, based in Korea. By the acquisition of SDI Media, the Iyuno-SDI Group is formed and will be world dominant in dubbing and subtitling in the film industry, with clients such as Netflix, other streaming companies and film houses. The merger of Iyuno and SDI Media creates an optimally positioned, global leader.
Iyuno Media Group is backed by Altor, Shamrock Capital and Softbank Ventures Asia, as primary financial partners.
Imagica Group Inc. was advised by Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu.
