Hammarskiöld advised Alpha Private Equity Funds (“Alpha”) as Swedish local counsel in the acquisition of Europart Holding GmbH.
On 12 May 2017, Alpha signed an agreement to buy Europart Holding GmbH, the European market leader in spare parts for commercial vehicles and other workshop equipment, from Triton Fund II and Paragon Fund I. Following competition clearance, closing of the transaction has now occurred.
Alpha invests in mid-sized companies primarily in Italy, France, Germany, Benelux, and Switzerland, focusing on either business services, retail or capital goods businesses with the goal of achieving a long-term sustainable growth for its investments.
