Hammarskiöld has acted as lead legal counsel to Altor group company BTI Studios on its market changing merger with Asian Iyuno Media Group.
BTI Studios is a Swedish founded global company providing dubbing, subtitling, access services and media solutions across multiple languages to a diverse international customer base, such as Netflix, Disney, Apple and Amazon. Iyuno Media Group provides corresponding services and has a strong position in Asia and has a technical know-how and a technical platform that is interesting for BTI's customers and employees.
BTI and Iyuno are two of the five largest groups in the industry. With the merger, the joint group becomes one of the two largest players in the market, with combined revenues of approx. SEK 2 billion. The joint group will operate under the name Iyuno Media group and will be based in London with operations in Asia, North America and Europe in a total of 36 countries.
